The Chairman (Cr W. J. SUmm) not only urged ihis matter but early iu December made a special trip to Kawhia and Kinohaka with Inspector Burd and tbe Commiseioatr of Crown Linds to personally point out the necessity ot despatch. Mr S i.iw moved at last meeting that the ll >vernmont be written to expediting tbe taking of the sits. Moral. Mr Ratepayer: Read your Settler.*— Y *urs, civ., ANOTHER OF ’EM.
