A CONTRADICTION.

(to THE EDIT 08. Sib,—I notice in your issue of 28th August that your Oparau correspondent is of opinion that considerable dissatisfaction prevails amongst the residents of Oparau regarding the present Oparau telephone service as there is Do secrecy. I merely wish to say that no such fealing exists amongst the residents here, and that tbey recognise that the present service is invaluable to the district. The office is under the control of a competent person who gives complete satisfaction.—Yours, etc., OPARAU RESIDENT.
