There was a good attendance and good enquiry for store cuttle, but sheep showed no improvement. Fat and forward 3| and 4-yr-steors, £fi 5s to £7 8s ; same age steers, less condition, 65 10s ; 2Jyr steer?, £4 5s to £4 !»s ; 18-mos and 2-yr steers. £3 3s to £4 ; yearling steers, extra choice. £2 IN others, in low condition, 43s to £2 ; mixed sexes, calves and yearlm-s, 30s to £2 2s ; younger sorts, 25s to 33s fid ; fresh conditioned empty cows, £.» 2»; springing cows aud heifers, close to profit, £5 to £7 ss; more backward sorts, £2 10s to £4 ; fat wethers, £1 2s fid ; store wethers, 13s (id to 16s; woolly hoggets, 10s 9d; empty 2-tooth ewes, 10s fid ; full-mouthed ewes in lamb, Ils to 1.3 s fid ; l|oo sold.
