KAWAIA TOWN BOARD.
(to the editor.) Sir,—Is the above body dead or only in a trtnoe ? I have not heard of auy meetings lately, and thought perhaps it had died a very natural death. Gould you give me any information.—Yours, etc., ENQUIRER. t Wa believe the Town Board is still in bxis'ence, and tbe reasons why mee.ings are not held hequently is because a quorum Qiunot be formec. Ora M‘C ifdk, Scott and Turrell are nearly always away from Kawhia, whilst Or Fahva-ser is also going to leave shortly. Tbe reason that a fresh election is not held is entirely on noaount of tbe expense that such would entail.—Ed S.]
