Keritoki, who intends seeking election at the hands of the Maoris at next general, election paid a visit to Kawhia wring the week. Mr Pieri, engineer of the s.s. Rotheeay, has we understand, resigned from that position, bat a change will not be made (or a few days yet. We are pleased to report that Mr E-. Falwasser, who recently went to Auckland for the benefit of his health, has made good progress towards recovery. He will return to Kawhia next week, and intends leaving for Te Haiti to open a branch of the business conducted by Messrs Pettit and Falwasser very shortly.
