Personal Pars.

Mr E. Aubin, leftKawbiaon Thursday last for Auckland to undergo an operation. Last week the wedding was celebrated at St John’s Cachedrai, Napier, of Mr H. T. Gillies, barrister and solicitor, of Hamilton, Waikato, to Miss Celia M‘Lernon, of Napier. The Rev. Canon Mayne officiated. Miss Dorothy Holmes, of Rakaia, acted as maid of honour, and Miss Mavis M 1 Hardy and Isabel M'Larnon (two little girls) as b idesmaids. Mr C. D. Kennedy was best man.

The following criticisms of Miss Hamilton’s Maud M'Alllster in “The Tea Girl” will be no doubt interesting to our many readers:—Herald, July 8, —“Miss R. Hamilton’s solo, “A Funny Little Way,” was one of the outstanding features of the first act.” Dramatic Review, July 2, —“Miss R. Hamilton was a very pretty Maud M‘Alliater, and her song with officers’ chorus, “It’s a funny little way,” was one of the best things in the piece. In the second act she was leas convincing but withal, the performance was a graceful one.
