At Ohanpo on Tuesday, the advertised number of cattle wore brought forward and all sold at the hammer or afterwards. 3J to 1 -yr-old steers realised £6 7s ; 3 to 2Jyenr steors, £3 10s to £.j 16s ; yearling to 18-montbs steers, £2 2s to £2 15s ; yearling to 18-mouths heifers, £1 15s to £2 6s; calves, Is to £1 Is; fresh conditioned cows, £1 10s to £3 18s.
On Thursday we held a clearing sale near Raugiriri, on account of Mr J, M'lndoe. Dairy cows to calve in the spring 15s ; yearling steers, £1 8s; ponies, £2 5s to XG ; dray, £7 10s ; harncea and sundries at usual prices.
On Wednesday at Rangiriri we yarded over 800 head nf cattle, A good attendance of buyers came from Te Kuiti, Cambridge Paterangi and neighbourhood, although the the rough weather retarded the bidding at commencement of sale, with the exception of a few pens of grown steers, all were dis-
posed of. Three to four-year steers were at lower values than in the Waikato and sold at from £5 5s to £6 6s. 2j-yr-old steers, £1 7« (id to £4 18s ; 2-yr-olda, £3 10s to £4; 15 and 18-months steers, £2 is to £2 10s; mixed yearlings, £1 7s 6d to £1 15s ; freshconditioned cows, £3 7s 6d to £4 ; fat cows and heifers, £5 to C 6 10s ; store cows, £1 12s 6d to £2 2s ; 3 to 4-yr-oid bulls, £3 10* to £4 15s; 125 store wethers, 14a 6d; fat ewes, 12s fid.
