NEW ZEALAND LOAN & MERCANTILE AGENCY CO.’S REPORT. At Hamilton yards on Thursday, April 30th, a fair number of stock were yarc’-ed. Fat steers realised from £7 lOs to £8 8s ; fat cows, £5 5s to AJii 12s ; tab heifers, £4 15s to £5 lOsj aged cows, £3 5s to £4 ; 2i-yr-old steers, £4 ; store cows, £1 10s to £2 lis ; calves, 16s to 20d ; fat ewes, 15s 7d to 17s 6d ; fat lambs, Ua Gd to 13s ; store lambs, 9s 3d to 10s 6d; store pigs, 18s to £1 os young pigs, 8s to 10s 61; slips, 14s to I7ti, On Saturday we held our monthly sale at Te Awamutu, when more than the usual number were penned. Calves and 18-moe to 2-yr-old steers were wanted,-and all this class sold at late prices, Eighteen mouths to 2-yr old steers made from £2 15s to £3 3s; heifers in calf, £2 14s; empty heifers.; £1 ICa ; best calves, £1 7s to£l 8s; others, 19s to £1 3s sd; weedy do., 6s to Us.
