RULES AND REGULATIONS : Nominations for the Kawhia County Handicap and Flying ckse with the Secretary on Friday, 15th May, at Kawhia, and must be accompanied by fees. Weights will appear in the Kawhia Settler on Friday, May 15th. Acceptances close with the Secretary at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 22. The Club is not registered with the Metropolitan Club, but the rules of the New Zealand Racing Club’s Conference will be adhered to as closely as possible. Three starters or no second prize in all races. All protests to be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, to be lodged within 10 minutes of the conclusion of the event. Tbe deposit will be retained by the Club if the protest is considered frivolous. The decision of the committee to be final in all matters. First race to start at 11 a.m. sharp.
