PHOPOBED LOAN OF £2OOO. rpHE KAWHIA COUNTY COUN OIL, exercising tbe powers of a Harbour Board in Kawbia Harbour, vested in tbe said Council .by Order in Council, dared tbe 26th day of November, 1906, under sec. 14 of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” hereby gives notice that it proposes : (1) T" engage in tbe following undertaking, namely, tbe extension and enlargement of tbe Kawbia wharf, at the extension of Jer vois ntreet, Kawbia. and tbe provision of landing c mvenienoes at Oparau, Hauttira and Kinohaku. (2) To borrow for such purpose, under the pro visions of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” and tbe amendments there >lf and of Sec 248 “The Counties Ac, 1886,” a sum of £2OOO, for a per iod of forty nne years and at a rate of interest of 8| per cent per annum. (8) To pledge as security for the repay ment of tbe said loan and the interest, sinking fund and charges thereon a special rate of 3-lGrbs of a penny in tbe £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property of tbe Kawbia County, together with the revenues of tbe above mentioned wharf and of the Harbour Endowments (4) It is not proposed to pay out of the loan tbe cost of raising the loan or tbe interest thereon for the first year.
