Waitomo County Council.
A meeting of tbe Waitomo County Council was held at Te Kuiti on Monday last. There were present Councillors Lusk (chairman), N. I, Hunt, Hoffman, Williamson, Scholes, T. Hunt, Loveday, Ormsby and Johnston. FENCED ROAD. A complaint having been received with regard to Mr Wiley’s fence block ing OteOto road, it was decided on the motion of Cr Hoffmann, seconded by Cr Ormsby, that Mr Wiley be reques ted to remove bis fence across the road.
It was suggested that Mr Wiley Ovuld apply for permission to erect « swing gate. COUNTY BOUNDARIES.
The Clerk was instructed to write again to the Kawhia County Council asking for a reply to a former com munication with reference to the Hauturu and Kawbia-Pirongh roads which constitute a portion of tbe boundary between the two counties. RE ADJUSTMENT OF RIDINGS. The question of re adjusting the boundaries of the various ridings was introduced by the Chairman, and con siderable discussion ensued on the subject, . Eventually on the motion of Cr Williamson, seconded by Cr Johnson, it was resolved that tbe Chairman and Crs Ormsby and Hoffmm, be appointed a committeo co or-ns'.der the b iundar ies, draw up a scheme of re adjustineru «nd submit same to next meeting of Council.—Abridged fr m Chronicle.
