Best steers realise from £8 5s to £9 ; lighter weights from £6 to JJ7 7s 6d, young cows andhe.fers, jB4 5s to£s 2s 6d : aged heavy cows* £3 15s to £4 ; 150 tWo and three year steers from Taupo made £2 19s to £5, the line being a cho'ce lot; choice 18 months steers, £2 10s to £3 3s; fresh ooupitioned cows, £2 2s 6d to £3 10s ; store cows, £1 7s 6d to £1 9s 6d to £1 IGs ; really strong and well grown calves, which camo forward in large numbers, made 17s to £1 ss; others, from 12s 6d to Lss. 400 woolly lambg broaght 8s 6d, Pigs sold at low values—slips, 1.4 s to £1 Is; weanere fie 6d to Bs. At Ngaruawahia on Friday 20th, good competition ruled throughout everything selling.
