County Noticet; KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL. “THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1901,” AND THE AMENDMENTS THEREOF. PROPOSED LOAN Oh £2OOO. rpHE KAWHIA COUNTY COUN OIL, exercising the powers ot a Harbour Board in Kawbia Harbour, vested in the said Council by Order in Council, dated the 26th day of November; 1906, under sac. 14 of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” hereby gives notice that it proposes : (1) To engage in tbe following undertaking, namely, the extension and enlargement of the Ka-_ whia wharf, at the extension of Jervots street, Kawbia. and the provision of landing 0 mveniouces at Oparau, Hauturu and Kinohaku. (2) To borrow for such purpose, under the pro visions of “The Local Bedies Loans Ac* - , 1901,” and tbe amendments thereof and of Sec. 248 “Tbe Counties Act, 1886,” a sum of £2OOO, for a per iod of forty one years and at a rate of interest of 8| per cent per annum. (8) To pledge as security for the repayment of tbe said loan and tbe interest, sinking fund and charges thereon a special rate of 8-16 tbs of a penny in the £ on the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Kawbia County, together with tbe revenues of the above mentioned wharf and of the Harbour Endowments. (4) It is not proposed to pay out ot-, the loan the cost of raising the loan or the interest thereon for the first year. Dated this 25th day of March, 1908. C. F. E. BARTON, f County Clerk.
