WHARF OBSTRUCTION.

(TO THE EDITOR.) Sir, For the past three weeks a ton of barbed wire has been on the wharf and in order to be one of tbe way it has been placed right in the way, viz., the footpath leading along the wharf, for when the track ia at the shore end it is impossible for ladies to go by without tearing their dreases. The smile that oyerspread some features when a councillor tore his nether garments is tbe only recompense I have for a torn skirt.—-Youra, etc., PETTICOAT.
