County Notices. KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL. RATEPAYERS are reminded that Xw a penalty of 10 per cent, will be payable on all unpaid rates for the year ending 81st March, 1908, after 16*h March. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of tbe Kawhia County Council held on the 15th day of February, 1908, a resolution was passed by way of Special Order making and levying a Special Rate of 3fd in tbe £ on tbe unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Maboenui Kawhia Road Special Rating district, to provide interest and other charges on a loan of £2500 for widening and metalling portion of tbe Mahoenui Kawhia road, the currency of the said loan being 41 years and the rate of interest being 4 per cent per annum. A Special Meeting of the said Council will ho held on the I'4th day of March, 1908, at 2 p.m. at the Council Office, Kawhia, (or the purpose of confirming the said Special Order, a copy of which may be seen at he Council Office.
