THE KAWHIA WHARF.
(TO THE EDITOR.) Sir,—The wbarl loan has, we hear, lapsed. Barely this is no reason why the Harbour Board cannot make tbe most of tbe room they have. Wby have a counter and desk, which occupies tbe space of three tons? Why not put up a couple of substantial shelves, say 16ft x 2*ft, well supported, sufficient io hold a ton or so of flour inijO's? Farther, why block tbe gang* 4 timber when a cheap and substantial platform would holdall that is imported here.—Yours, etc., SKIPPER.
