Shaw’s candidature for a seat on the Land Board and to endnavour to se cure bis return, os it is considered be is just the right man for the position. The secretary vs« instructed to write to the Hon. Minister for Public Works, asking that nil monies voted for local roads be authorised assnnn as possible, pointing out tbe great Ins® and inconvenience to settlers here through not having the Awaroa Mabne and Mahoe roads connected, gn that we can rail our stock at Hsngitikei Bnd so save tbe long drive tn Ohaupo.
