Generally competition for bulls was not brisk, excepting for well grown two-yr-olds, which class realised from 5$ to 11J gna ; 12 to 18-months bulls, £3 3s to L 4 10s. Forward bullocks and 2-vr-old -teers elicited good competition,but low conditioned 3-yr steers were rather dull of site. Forward 3j to 4-yr steers made from £1 Ss to JS7 Ils; fresh 3-yra, £5 15s to £6 12s 6d; 2-yr steers £3 5s to £4 10s; yearlings to 18-montbs steer*, 42 4s to £2 18s j mixed yearlings, £1 16a 6d to £2 2e ; fresh cows, £2 17e 6d to £3 12e; store cows, £2 4s to £2 158 , fat cows and heifers, £5 5a to £6 l’)e; qrvet empty 2-yr-oid heifers, £2 Ils to j£3 2s; cows and calves, £2 17« 6d to £3 10a.
On Friday, 22nd November, we held our spring cattle sale at Ngaraawahia, and or er 1200 head of all cl-wses cam; forward, necessitating a second yarding Competiou throughout was inclined to be dull and prices lower than recent Rales.
