Oparau.
(from oub own correspondent. Mr H. Armstrong has his plant on the ground and will make an early start. The timber is fuiily plentiful for this part.—Mr Wright has his shed up and engine in position at Oparau landing.—The White Star mill has secured an up-to-date planer and intend making an early start.—Another timber manufacturing plant is said to be going to start at Oparau ferry. The road is now better than since this part was settled. The work of the County will soon make it better. For the present it is wise to use all available cash in metalling those parts known by sad experience to be bog boles during winter. The weather has been making up for past deficiences. All paddocksand gardens are bet'er for the last few dayj rain. Better prices than usual have been ruling for cattle, but a little later prices will not be so good. Several nice young horses may be Bien around Oparau.
