N.Z. LOAN i MERCANTILE AGENCY CO.’S REPORT. On 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th September we held our annual spring horse fair at Cambridge, and during the four days offered 656 draught and light horses, and 130 odd draught and light colts. Buyers were present from Palmerston North, Feilding, Auckland, Kniti, Kawbta, and the backcountry. Heavy draught mares and geldings realised from L 42 10s to L 53 ; unbroken heavy draughts, L3B 5s to L 45 ; active medium draughts, L 26 to £35; medium draught unbroken sorts, LlB to L 29 : strong harness colts, LIO to Ll 5 15s i 2-yr-old strong harness sorts, L 7 15a to Ll2 10s ; draught foals, LIO 10s to Ll 3 10s ; upuianding hacks and hunters, L 22 t0,L30; good buggy horses, LlB to L2O 19s ; useful harness sorts, Ll 6 to £23 10s; good cobs, Ll 5 to L? 3; useful light hacks and buggy horses, L 9 to LI2 10a; ponies, L 3 10s to L 7, 20 strong harnats sorts and medium draughts from Gisborne, L1615e to L 27.
