Kawhia Congregational Church.
There w&a not a large attendance at th ajnorl aeelicg of the congregation of the above, held on Wednesday eveureg last. The Rev. C. 15. Davidtoa presided. The meeting was opened by singing a hymn, Bible reading aud prayer. The financ'jil s-atoment showed the total iucome to be £95 15s 10J, m?de upe.s follows: E-iz.ar, £3B 15s fid; dotiacioßß, £5 I2s4d ; collection*, K*> viiia, £42 44 Bd, outstations, £9 84 7d ; b .Luce from last year, £1 14s 9d. The expenditure was: Stipend account, £O5 44 3d; reduction of debt oj church, £10; church cleaning, lighting, etc., £5 Io< lOd ; organ ton•ug, £1 10s; fencing, forms, etc., etc., leaving a balance of about £B. A heariy vote of tbauka was pws**d io the oatgoing committee for their services during the past year. The question of present iog the goods remaining over from the late sale of work to the Rev. K. Mi.chell for tbo Te Kuiti Church wae referred to the incoming committee for their favou able consideration. The following were eketed the com mittee for the ensa ng year:—Mrs Newton, Mrs Barron, M : es E. Bnekekidge, Metsrs Enron, Durham, Ward and G. Wright. k The meeting closed with the doxo•ogy°
