(to tub editor ) Slli,—While away for n week I learned that luuiurubber £rowa well and is extremely profitable, so I am writing for information, which I will furnish to your paper when 1 know more about it. It does well in New Zealand especially in swamps Mr F A. Gr.en, of Lilydale Nursery, C impbell Boad, Ellerslie, has some trees iu his nursery, and has promised to grow some, Fiji grows I j.dia-rubber, and it Ins been definitely stated by an export that it Is a very payable crop—in fact, a private goldnine, as it is easy io grow and will imud constant bleeding of the juice for eight years, when the tree requires two years spell, Just think 1 Eight years profits for one years graft.—Yours, etc?i G.
