NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Kawhia County Council, at a meeting to be held in the Council Offices ou Monday, the 12th of August, to make and levy a GENERAL BATE of Id iia the £ on the unimproved value of all the rateable property witbin tbe Kawhia County, the said rate to be for a period of twelve months from the Ist April, 1907, to the 81st March, 1908, and to become due and payable at the County Offices, Kawhia, on Monday, the 2nd day of September, 1907. KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order making a special Rate to meet the interest'and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds, was duly passed at a special Meeting of the Council held on tbe 4th day of July, 1907, viz.,—That in pursuance and exercise of tbe powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” tbe Kawhia County Council hereby resolves a.s follows—That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (this is a portion of a Loan of £12,000 for two successive years expenditure) authorised to be raised by the Kawhia Council under the abovenamed Aot, for tbe purpose at providing for the Forming and Metalling of the Mahoenui-Kawhia Road, from Kinohaku to the junction with tbe Taumatptara Road, the said Loan to be for a period of 41 years, and the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per oentum per annum, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 2|3 in the £ upon all rateable property in the Kinohaku Special Rating District (in which the road is situated), comprising sec lions—-W. Johnson’s, Block 11, Kawbia South ; Sections, IS, 14, 15, 16, 17,18, 19, 20, Block I; 8 and 4, Section 1,8, 9, and 10, Block V; and half of sections la, Block 111 • la, 2,8, 7, 11 and 12, Bh ck V ; B and 4, Block VI; and half of Hurihari, Small Grsz tog Run, section 1, Blocks 111, IV, V and IX, all Kawhia South Survey District ; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate.during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the First day of October in each and every year during the currency of such Loap, being a period of 41 year? 1 , or until each time as the Loan is fully paid off, W.
