NOTICE is hereby given that it ia the intention of the Kawbia County Council, at a meeting to be hold in the Council Offices on Monday, tbe 12th of August, to make and levy a GENERAL RATE of Id in the £ on the unimproved value of all the rateable property within the Kawbia County, tbe said rate to be for a period of twelve months from the lat April, 1907, to tbe 81st March, 1908, and to become due and payable at the County Offices, Kawbia, on Monday, the 2nd day of September, 1907. KAWHIA. COUNTY COUNCIL. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order making a special Rate to meet the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds, was duly passed at a special Meeting of the Council held on the 4th day of July, 1907, viz.,—That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Kawbia County Council hereby resc/ves as follows—That for tbe purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Fiye Hundred Pounds (this is a portion of a Loan of £12,000 for two successive years expenditure) authorised to be raised by tbe Kawbia Council under the abovenamed Act, for tbe purpose of providing for the Forming and Metalling of the MahoenuLKawhia Road, from Kinohaku to tbe junction with tbe Taumatotaraßoad, tbe said Loan to be | for a period of 41 years, and tho in(terest to be paid is at the rate of 1 per i centum per annum, tbe said Kawbia County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 2|d in the £ J upon nil rateable property in tho Kinohaku Special Rating District (in which the road is situated), comorining sec lions—W. Johnson’s, Block IT, Ka whin South ; Sections, 18, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, Block 1; 8 and 4, Section ], 8,9, and 10. BLck V; and half of section* la, Block 111 '; la, 2,8, 7, 11 and 12, BL ok V ; 8 and 4, Block VI; and half of Harihori, Small Graz ing Run, section 1. Blocks 111, IV, V and IX, all Kawbia Snth Survey Dis trict ; and that snob Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the First day of October in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 41 years, or until such time as the Loan is fully paid off.
