DIOGENES’ TUB.
(TO THE EDITOB.) Sir, —Another lei ter appears iu last issue by “Diogenes." Now “Diogenes” old fellow, yon feel like the man who fell out of th? baloon at present, not iu it. You are evidently a philanthropic patriotic inhabitant of a tab. No matter, old boy, you mast be very old now, or uistory errs. You could not do better than stand for the coaiaty honours, as you might possibly have the insight to find that clay does not make a good road and inclines aud bends are behind a straight level road. I know your writing and |yoar intention is good.— Years, etc, OCCASIONAL CORRESPONDENT.
