DISTRICT OF KAWHIA. : I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I THOMAS D’ARCY HAMILTON, whose place of business is within [ this district, has been Duly Licensed to Sell by Auction for six months, to be computed from the first day of July, 1907. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order making a Special Rate to meet the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds, was duly passed at a Special Meeting of the Council held on the Ith day of July, 1907, viz.,—That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901,” the Kawhia County Coun oil hereby resolves as follows—That for ihe purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (this is a portion of a Loan of £12.000 for two successive years expenditure) authorised to be raised by the Kawhia Council under the above named Act, for tho purpose of providing for the Forming and Metalling of the Mahoenui Kawhia Road, from Kinohaku to the junction with the Taumatotara Road, the said Loan to be for a period of 11 years, and the interest to be paid is at the rate of 4 per centum per annum, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of 2 *-d in the £ upon all rateable property in the Kinobaku Special Rating District (in which the road is situated), comprising sections—W. Johnson’s, Block 11, Ka wbia South ; Sections, 18, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, Block I; 8 and 4, Section 1,8, 9, and 10, Block V; and half of sections la, Block lII* la, 2,8, 7, 11 and 12, Bb ck V ; 8 and 4, Block VI; and half of Haribart, Small Graz ing Run, section 1, Blocks 111, IV, V and IX, all Kawhia Soulh Survey Dis triut ; and that such Special Rate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, and shall be payable on the First day of October in each and every year during the currency of such Loan, being a period of 11 years, or until such time as the Loan is fully paid off.
