County Notices. KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL. “ THE LOCAL BODIES LOANS ACT, 1901." AND THE AMENDMENTS THEREOF. Proposed Loan f.,r Widening and Metalling the Maboenui - Kawhna Road. HHHE KAWHIA COUNTY COUN- -*■ OIL propose to raise a Loan of £5OOO for ibe term of 41 years at 4 per cent, per annum for the forming and metalling of the above road. It is proposed to strike a rate of B|d in the £ on the unimproved value of the following lands abutting on the •aid road : —Sections 18, 14, 15, lfl, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Block I; Sections 8,4, 5,6, 7,8, 9 and 10, Block V; Sections 1,2, 8 and 4, Block X ; 8 and and 4, Section 1; W. Johnson’s Bieck 11; and on half of Sections la, Block III; la, 2,11 and 12, Block V; 8 and 4, Block VI; 2 and 3, Block IX; on 2000 acres of B.G.R;, Harihari, 3,4, 5 and 9, all Kawhia South, and on all Native Lunds adjoining the saic! road. Tho proposed security for the repayment is to be the thirds accruing and the Special Rate of B£d in the £. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council, held on the 6th May, 1907, a resolution waei passed, by way of Special Order, Striking a Special Rate of 1 11-16 d in the £ on the unimproved rateable value of the land in the Pirongia West Special Rating District, to provide interest and other charges on a loan o( £1750, for Forming and Metalling the Pirongia West Road, the currency of such loan being a period of 41 years, at 4 per cent, per an num. And it is further notified that a meeting of..the eaid Council will be held on the 17th Jufie, 1907, to confirm the said Special Orders, a copy of which may be seen at the County Office. J. K.
