Proposed Loan for Widening and Metalling the Maboenui - Kawbia Road. riiHE KAWHIA COUNTY COUNOIL propose to raise a Loan of £5OOO for the term of 41 years at 4 per cent, per annum tor the forming and metalling of the above road. Jt is proposed to strike a rate of 3|d in the £ on the unimproved value of the following lands abutting on the said road :—Sections 18, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20. Block I; Sections 8,4, 5,6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, Bic ok V ; Sections 1,2, 8 and 4, Block X ; 8 and and 4, Section 1; W. Johnson’s Block II; and on half of Sections la, Block III; la, 2,11 and 12, Block V; 8 and 4, Block VI; 2 and B, Block IX ; on 2000 acres of 8.G.R., Haribari, 8,4, 5 and 9, all Kawbia South, and co all Native Lands adjoining the said road. The proposed security for the repayment is to be the thirds accruing and the Special Rate of B£d in the £. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting ot the Council, held on the Gth May, 1907, a resolution was passed, by way of Special Order, Striking a Special Rate of 1 11-lSd in tbe £ on the unimproved rateable value of the land in the Pirongia West Special Rating District, to provide interest and other charges on a loan of £1750, for Forming and Metalling the Pirongia West Road, the currency of such loan being a period of 41 years, at 4 per cent, per annum. And it is further notified that a meeting of the said Council will be held on the 17th June, 1907, to confirm the said Special Orders, a copy of which may be seen at the County Office. J. K.
