The motion was passed in the foliow iug Jorm : That in the interests of Grown tenants it is dtenable that at least one half of the members of tho Land Board should be elected by the settlers. RATING OE UNOCCUPIED LANDS. The following remit from Kinobaku whs affirmed on the motion of Mr Shaw That the Loans to Local Bodies Act be amended so that all unoccupied (native and Crown) load in any special rating area shall become rateable from the date of occupation.
