FOOTBALL. OPARAU CLUB. A meeting of the abo ye dub was heldia Mr Jonathan’sstore on Mondays Mr A. G. Wil.iams was voted to the euair. The following officers were elected for the ensuing seasoir: President, Mr T. B. Scott; Viee-Pc»« sident', Messrs A. W. Elliot, 0. Bell, O. Spurliag, T. Troaghton, G. H. MacKenzie, E. J. Graham, and W. W. Davies; Hon. Secretary and Treasurer, L. A. Jourdain. The annual subscription was fixed at 2s 68. A practice match will be held on Sat ucd ay, April 27th, at 2.80 p.m. sharp. A general meeting of the dub will be held after the match. We learn that the Marakopa FeokbaP Club has been reformed and are anxious lo have a game with any dub area .d the harbour. Owing to tbe scarcity of players, it is ii >4 likely that there wTI be a dub at Kawhia this year.
