OHAUPO SHEEP FAIR. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agen y Company Ltd., report:-On Tuesday at Ohaupo we held our third sheep fair of the season and yarded over 8000 sheep and lambs. There was n large attendance from all parts of Waikato, Kawhia, Te Kuiti and Raglan and we report a successful sale. The prices realised for really good lines of either sheep or lambs were quite equal to those of our March fair. Only two pens of fat ewes remained unsold at conclusion of sale. The 5000 ewes from Napier which we sold in conjunction with Messrs M‘Nicol and Co. were undoubtedly the best lot offered this season, and realised the following prioea: 1030 4 a nd 6-<ooth longwool ewe*, 18s 6*; 700 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 19a Id; 650 2-tooth ewes, I6s 6d; 1170 4-year-dd ewes, 17s Gd; 1200 full mouthed ewes, 15a 3d to 15s «d; fat and forwtrd lambs Ils 6d to 19a 9d; shorn lambs, 8s 6d to 9s 9d; fat anl forward 2-tooth wethers, 16s 8d to 17s 3d; small 2tooth wethare, 14s 6d to 15s sd; heavy fat ewes. 13s 6dto 16s; 2-tooth ewes, 16e 6d tc 17s; full-mouthed ewee, Ife te 14s 6d; aged e ves, 8s 6d to 10s 9d; 100 English Lm?teB’2 and 4 tooth rams f-om Yaoior.
