Wkst Tamaxi, 7th April, 1906 Mcssbs Shablanu & Co., Ltd. , Auckland. Dear Sire,— I have pleasure in reporting on the use of your POTATO BIJ.GHT EXTERMINATOR. 1 used the preparation practically in accordance with the directions on thepackage, first of all stepping the potatoar in tUe liquid for 24 hourti on the lines suggested in directions—afterwards placing in the son to thoroughly dry, prior to planting. $ planted in the ordinary way with the addition of a little lime in the drill—about sov?t. to the acre. When the shoots showed about 2J to 3in. aboye the ground, I gave them a complete spraying in accordance with yonr directions. When they were about 12 inches high I sprayed again, or when any indication of the blight showed upon the stalks. The whole of my crop has turned out perfectly sound and satisfactory, although many of my neighbours who have not used this preparation have loot the whole ol their crops; but those who used your preparation according to the proper directions, have saved their crop* with good results. I am satisfied that this preparation is an exterminator of the blight, and at the same time it increases thegyield of the potatoes to a considerable extent. It is noticeable especially in regard to the improved flavour of the potatoes. Previous to this preparation having been brought before my notice I bad used the Bordeaux Mixture, but the reattlHs were very unsatisfactory. I have also used your POTATO BLIGHT EXTERMINATOR for blight in cauliflower, cabbage and turnips and have had splendid re suite. Yours faithfully, (Signed) J. PILKINGTON.
