By the s.s. Kia Ora on Wednesday last nine barrows were imported for use on the works on the various roads in the O juuty.
The member for the Waiharakeke Riding (Or Bbaw) has shown promptness iu connection with tbe spending of the loan money, aud already has a gang of a dozen men on widening and straightening the Mahoenui-Kawhia read, under the supervision ot Mr Duigan.
