Dear Sire, — I have pleasure in reporting on tbe use of your POTATO BLIGHT EXTBRMINATOJt. 1 used the preparation practically in accordance with the directions on the peckage, first of all steeping- the potatoes in the liquid for 24 hours on the lines suggested in dirt ctions—afterwards placing in the sun to thoroughly dry, prior to planting. I planted in the ordinary wajr with the addition of a little limo in the drill—about scwt. to the acre. When the shoots showed about 2J to Siu. above the ground, I gave them a complete spraying in accordance with your directions. When they were about 12 inches high I sprayed again, or when any indication of the blight showed upon the stalks. ‘lhu whele of my crop haw turned out perfectly sound and satisfactory, although many of my neighbours who have not used this preparation have loat the whole of their crops; but those who uaed your preparation according to the proper directions, have saved their crope with good results. I am satisfied that this preparation is an exterminator of the blight, and at the same time it in creases tbajyield of the potatoes to a oonsidsrabls extent. It is noticeable especially in regard to the improved flavour of the potatoes. Previous to this preparation having been brought tiefore my notice I had used the Bordeaux Mixture, but the results were very uusatisi’actory.
