Wbht TamaKi, 7th Al’KiL, 1906 Missrr Ssarlamd fcC’v., Ltd., Auckland, Dear Sirs, — I have pleasure in reporting on the use of your POTATO BLIGHT EXTBRMf N A TOR. 1 used the preparation practically in accordance with the directions on the package, first of all steeping the potatoes in tbe liquid for 21 hoars on the lines suggested in directions —afterwards placing in the sun to thoroughly dry, prior to planting. I planted in the ordinary way with the addition of a little lime in the drill—about scwt. to the acre. When the shoots showed about 2?, to Sin. above the ground, I gave them a complete spraying in accordance with your directions. W heu they were about 12 inches high I prayed again, or when any indication of the blight showed upon the stalks, 'I he whole of my crop has turned out perfectly sound anti satisfactory, although many of my neighbours who have not used this preparntion have lost the whole of their crops; but those who used your preparation according to the proper directions, have saved their crops with good results. I am satisfied that this preparation is an exterminator of the blight, and at the same time it increases thejyisld of the potatoes to a considerable extent. It is noticeable espftoialiy in regard to the improved flavour of the potatoes. Previous to this preparation having been brought before my notice I bad used the Bordeaux Mixture, but the results were very unsatisfactory.
