Wbst TamaKi, 7Th April, WOB Mftjsns Shablanij A Co., J/M>. a Auckland. Dear Sirs,— [ have pleasure in reporting on the use of your POTATO BUG HT EXTERMINATOR. 1 used the preparation practically in aticordancu with the directions on the package, first of all steeping the potatoes in tfcie liquid for 24 hours on the Hum suggested in directions—afterwards placing in the suu io theronrhly dry, prior to planting. I planted ih the ordinary way with the addition of a little lime in the drill—about scwt. to the acre. When the shoots showed about 21 to 3in. above the ground, I gave them a complete spraying in accordance with your directienn. When they were about 12 inches high I sprayed again, or when any indication of the blight showed upon the stalks. Ths whole of my crop has tamed out perfectly sound and satisfactory, although many of my neighbours who have not used this preparation have lost the whole ot their crops; but thoEe who used your preparation according to the proper directions, have saved their crops with good results. ■ am satisfied that this preparation is an exterminator of the blight, and at Iho same time ft inorea es thajyield of the pot tees to a considerable extent. It is noticeable esp cially in .egard-to the improved flavour of the potatoes. Previous to this preparation having beon brought before my notion I had used the Bordeaux Mixture, bat tie results were very unsatisfactory. I have a>to used your PO ’ ATO BLIGHT EXTERMIN ATOH f r blight in cauliflower, cabbage and twnips and have had splendid re suits. Yours f dlhfully, (Signed) J. PILKINGTON.
