Dancing was started oon after 10 p.m.. and suppar served about 11 p.m., after which dancing was continued till 2 a.m. Masses Worthington and Edgecombe were tbe M’s.C, Ab )ut £5 5s was realised. The weather daring the past week has been very spring like—warm rains and fine days. All the crops fire doing well. So far the potato blight has not made its appearance in the district yet, and it is to be hoped it will not be seen this year. Probably the dry spring has helped to check it.
