When the people first he rd tbe news they were delighted, but since that time their pleasure has been turned to disgust—and naturally so, toe. lam astounded at a company with the reputation the Union S-S. has publishing such an absolate’y misleading notification- I feel conyidced that tbe Corinna will never come to Kawhia, but wbat I would like to ask is why ? Are the U.S.S. Co afraid that if they come io Kawhia the N.S.S. Co. will declare maritime war agninst them on every mu ? ‘ 1 think that is the reason.—Yours, etc., RED FUNNEL.
