Wert Tamaki, .. Z TH April, 1906. ; Mfcrfßs bHARLAND & CO,, LTD , Auckland, Dear bits, — I have pleasure in reportins' on tbe use of your POTA TO BLIGHT EXTERMINATOR 1 used the preparation practically in an-* cer lance with the directions on the package first of all steeping the potatoes intne j liquid for 24 hours on the lines suggested in ; directions—afterwards placing in the sun to I thoroughly dry, prior to planting. I , planted in the ordinary way with the addii Lion of a little lime in the drill—about »cwt ito the acre. When the shoots showed about 2J to Sin. above the ground, I gave ; them a complete spraying in accordance with your directions. When t'lev were about 12 iuches high I sprayed again or when any indication cf the blight showed I upon the stalks. The whole of iny crop | has turned out perfectly sound and sstis- ; factory, although many of iuy neighbours who hay® not used t his preparation have . lost the whole ot their crops; but tlr»se who used your preparation according to the proper directions, h ive saved their crops with good results. I am ratified that thia preparation is an exterminator of the blight, aud at the same time it inoreatws thejyield of the not.toes to a oonsiderable extent. It is noticeable eapecially iu regard to the improved flavour of the potatoes. Previous to this preparation having been brought before my notice I had used the Bordeaux Mixture, but the results were very unsatisfactory. I hare also used your BO I'A TO BLIGHT EX I iSRMINATOR for blight in cauliflower, cabbage and turnipe and have had splendid re suit*. Yours faithfully, (Signed) J. PILKINGTON.

I Mr John Pilkington la a large grower of potatoes aud well known throughout New Zealand rs an authority on j>o‘ato growing I and other branches of farming.
