TIHE KAWHIA COUNCIL propose to raise a Loan of £l5OO for the term of 41 years at 4 per cent, per annum for the Okupata Road. It is proposed to strike a Rate of 1 11-16 d in the £ on the unimproved value of the following lands abutting on the said road: —Sections 5,6, 6a, 7, 11,12, 18, Block V., Pirongia West; Sections 4,6, 7, Block VIII., Kawhia North; Section 2c, No. Bb, and all Native Land abutting on said road ; and half rates on Sections 2 and 8, Block VIII, Kawhia North, and Sections 8 and 9, Block V., Pirongia West. The proposed security for the repayment is to be the thirds accruing and the special rate of 1 11-1 Gd in the £.
