-£-tvutßall enthusiasts are reminded that the season will be opened to-mor-row (Saturday) when a match between teams picked on tbe ground will be played at Maketu. A meeting was held in Mr Falwasaer’s office on Saturday night last (presided over by Mr Pettit), at which it was decided to re-form the Kawhia Football Club and re-name it the “Kawbia Star Football Club,” the colours to be amber and black, and the membership fee 2s 61. The following offi ciais were elected :—President, Mr G. G. Jonathan ; vice-presidents, Dr C. Campbell Jenkins and M r C. Wilson ; secretary and treasurer, Mr E. U. Falwaster; executive and selection committee, Messrs H. Pettit, A. Brown, P Brougb, 11. J. Falwasser and secretary ; captain, Mr E. Falwasser.
