Farmers’ Union.
KINOHAKU BRANCH. A meeting of members of the Kinohaku Branch of the Farmers’ Union was held at Te Anga on Saturday lasi, when about 15 mambers attended, the president (Mr W.’J. Shaw being in the chair. A somewhat lengthy diseussion took place on grasses most suitable to the district, and it was eventually decided that Messrs H. Dereoourt, Haylook and John Shaw prepare papers on the subject to ba read at next meeting. The question of establishing the dairying industry was also discussed fully, the debate being very interesting. In order io give members an opportunity to think over the matter, it was resolved, “ That a public meeting be held at the Junction on Saturday, 27th inst., under the auspices of the local branch of the Far mere* Union, to consider tbo advisability of forming a dairy company.”
