It was decided to hold the echaoF picnic at To Maika on Thursday, January 25th, and that the launches owned by Messrs Dereoourt, Morgan and Newton be engaged to convey Mbolars and friends to the picnic, the tare to be I* return for all who are not scholars, the fares to be divided between the launch owners. The chairman and secretary were deputed to col* lest the fares. The launches will 'eave Dot later than 10 am., returning after 8 pm. Adults are requested tn provide refreshments, enough for them■lives and another. A programme was drawn up (liable tn alteration) as follows *—Boyd under 14, High Jump (handicap) under 14, Girls under 12, Girls over 12, Bnys under 10, Eoya over 10, Handicap Hurdle Race (under 14). Back Race, Three-legged Race, Egg and Ladle Race, Girls under 10, Hop, Step and Jump, Handicap High Jump, Long Jump. GENBBAL. The following accounts were passed for payment:—J. E. Scott £b Bs, H. Bireombe IT 15s, T. Wallace 12s 6d, Hinton and Hustler 8s 4d. Mr Gosling handed in his re?ignaftion as a member of the committee owing to leaving the district.—Accepted with regret. It was decided to request Mr Durham to meet the committee at the next meeting to advise as to the allocation of the prizes offered for the forthcoming year by the following donors : •—Rev. R. Mitchell, Mr and Mrs Newton, Mr and Mrs Howes, Messrs FalWaeser, Turrell and Pettit.
