Fire at Pirongia.

Me J. W. Worthington's house and the contents were totally destroyed ’by fire last Friday night, between 11.80 and 12. The origin of the fire is unknown. Mr H. Worthington, who occupied the house, left some three or four hours previously, when everything appeared safe. There is a small risk held by the South British. Mrs Worthington, who is at present with her sisters, and is shortly leaving to join her husband, had nearly everything packed ready to leave. Mr Worthington, who is in the Government Roads Dapartment, is at present residing at Whangamomona.
