A meeting of Mr F. W. Lang’s supporters was held in Te Awamutu >.k Monday la.-t, when strong oomtriittee was appointed. As at rhe previous election, a laaies* committee was also formed. It will bj rem inhered that ibis organisation wa? particularly energetic and effective in furthering Mr Ling’s candidature three years ago* Mr W. W. McOardl?, who has taken on the task of fighting the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Massey) in Franklin, commenced his campaign on Saturday at Pukekohn, Mr McCardle intends to vigorously pursue h's campaign right on till election. He is making Pukekohe his home and oeutre. and will visit evey part of* the electorate, speak ng everywhere. (By Telegraph.) Tb Mata, Thursday, October -5 Mr Gracuslado is prosecuting his campaign vigorously, and will visit most parts of the electorate. He will deliver addresses in even the smallest centres, the local dates already fixed being—R»glan. October 16th ; Te Mita, 17th; Kawhia, 18th ; Kiuohaku, 19th, all at 7 30 p.m.
