I would suggest that as tbe Government, with unusual impartial wisdom, have omdescended to grant a sum of money for the construction of a poriion of the Te Malka road, that Messrs ■ Bell Bros, and Ross knew what they were writing about, “ Alert ” must have been misled, whilst C.
