A HAPPY SUGGESTION.
(to thb EDITOR.) Sir, —Until I wag informed to the contrary, I was under the impression, BS perhaps others are, that the music ■upplieo at the successful County Bali on Monday evening last was paid for. but I believe that hose who enjoyed it are indebted to Mies Stevens and Mr Jonathan for gratitucusly providing the same. I also believe that this is not the first dance that they have contributed so largely to our pleasure without remuneration. I would suggest that some slight recognition should be shown Mins Stevens and Mr Jonathan, before the winter is over, perhaps a complimentary dance. I feel sure that the suggestion will be favoured by many who appreciate the kindness of this lady and gentleman. —Yours, etc., BETLAW.
