(from ova owx cqbrcspoxdext.) Rain, frost and sun—samples of the weather during the past week. Several large areas of bush are being felled this year. The Oparau lands will next season be able to carry far more stock. I bear Messrs Bya -u Co. are turning out a superior * of timber since Mr Ted Pearce got to work on the bench. The firm have been along time getting properly started bat now should be able to c July demands. The timber te there and it is of good quality. There te a steadily increasog demand and the firm's future te naw practically assured to be successful. The Pirongia West road te to be completed shortly, after which the old pack-teack will ba dosed.
