(to the kditor.) Sib, —A letter from Mr Chas. Ball appeared in your test issue. Mr Bell has not grasped tbe meaning of my answer to his lisi tetter. Wteat £ distinctly said was that Mr Bjii was irked to attend a meeting at Optra?, by a Farmers' Union officer, watab wo (tbe farmers) understood was to be a meeting of the Furmsre' Union. Tha fact of Mr Bill not deigning to attend and give a chance to join wh> did is his own will.— Yoarg, etc.,
