OPARAU FARMERS’ CLUB.
(to the editor.)
Sib,—A few words are necessary in reply to the letter of “ Oparau Correspondent ” in your issue of Juno 30th., an, in hie last paragraph, he implies that the meeting at which I was not present was a Farmers’ Union meeting, thus repeating-one of the miarepresentations of which 1 complained. I must, therefore, repeat that the meeting was a public meeting, at which, as secretary of the Union, I was not called upon to be present. —Yours, etc., CHAS. BELL.
